Fairy Tales and War

When does God hear prayers?
1. Common situations that people assume God is listening to their prayers:
            * When a child is sick or hurt
            * When someone dies or a life tragedy
            * When living with a partner and unmarried or not following the Lord in their life
            * Living a divided life- part worldly and part for God
            * When they consider themselves to be a good person

2.  God does not hear the prayers of some people.

1 Peter 3:12  For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.
Psalm 34:15  The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.
Matthew 5:23,24 Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee; Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.
1 Peter 3:7 Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.
