THOUGHTS
We have thoughts as a result of outside stimulus, our senses, spiritual entities, our own thoughts or emotions/feelings.

DECISION
After we have a thought, then we consciously or subconsciously make a decision of how we are going to perceive this thought. A decision is also a thought and it can be cognitive (conscious) or associative (subconscious). Repetitive thoughts/behaviors become habits which we do without consciously thinking about them.

EMOTIONS/FEELINGS
Emotions result from our decision. We decide what emotions or feelings we will allow ourselves to have. To reach ultimate peace, our destructive, negative emotions should not be a part of our decision making anymore. We replace old irrational thinking with Spirit led rational thought. This takes a deep love walk with God. First salvation, and then learning the Word and yielding to the Holy Spirit. 2 Corinthians 10:5 says to cast down imaginations (fairy tales) and bring our thoughts unto the obedience of Christ. This is walking in the Spirit. We must replace old thinking habits with new thinking habits. We need to learn to act and not react. Make cognitive decisions on how to respond to thoughts and replace old habits. Then with time, the new decisions will become associative.

BEHAVIOR
Our behavior can reflect our emotions/feelings or not. Most often people will let their feelings dictate their behavior. Even if we haven’t mastered controlling our feelings, we can still choose to behave differently than we feel.
