Anger/Depression ---- Frustration ----Wanting to Control ---- Pride/Selfishness
Anger is a feeling. It can result from self-preservation, indignation (see definitions), or as in most cases, directly from our pride. Typically, we recognize that when we outwardly express our feeling it is called anger but when we turn our anger feeling inward, that is known as depression. Even though depression has a different name, it is still anger.
The anger we most often have comes from our pride. Our anger results from frustration and our frustration results from our wanting to control something (an event in our lives or an object, etc.) and the wanting to control results from our pride and selfishness. Pride is an unbalance in our self esteem. It is a direct result of not walking in the Spirit of God, a manifestation of our fleshly nature. See: Fear, Pride, Control video
